First of all, thank you everyone for being so excited for us. Everyone has asked if I'm feeling well, and I'm not. But really, thanks for asking. Today has been a particulary bad morning since I have been throwing up since 3am. When I was pregnant with India, I wrote in my journal three times during the first two months. The next entry was two days after India was born. So, I thought my morning sickness this time was not as bad as last time, but it turns out I had successfully repressed those memories. Anyway, if I give you a really mean look at church, don't take it personally.
Enough whining. On the flip side, I am losing weight (though most likely pounds of brain cells). My students and boss are being very nice to me. My neighbors continue to be nice to me and help out with India a lot even when I look like a pajama-clad polygamist. We are now only using paper and plastic. I am contemplating dressing myself and India in garbage bags to cut down on laundry. I realized that India has not eaten lunch for the past week, so I splurged at the grocery store and bought tons of snacks and ready-to-eat meal-like items for her. Ammon is noble about doing everything and listening to me cry. And finally, if things go like last time, I should be feeling better in about eight more weeks!

your post makes me want to cry. if you need anything, let me know. like if you just need to get rid of india for a few hours, we'll take her. we quite like her.
Congrats!! Although I'm sorry you are not feeling well. I hope the next 8 weeks go fast for you!! Are you hoping for a boy or girl?
:) Steph
I DON'T miss those days at all. I would do it all again in a heartbeat of course, the end product is what matters! It's getting there that sucks. If you need anything, let me know too!
CONGRATULATIONS!!! SO EXCITING! I AM HAPPY FOR YOU! i HOPE YOU FEEL BETTER SOON THAT IS NOOOO FUN!
Congrats Erin!! We are so excited for you guys!
um- if I got that sick- I wouldn't do it again like you are. I am not that selfless and don't like children enough. Are those fritos for you? I dry heave just thinking about fritos (and I'm not even pregnant). All that food doesn't even look that bad and India appears to be pretty happy about the new menu!
sounds like leisy hates the fritos as much as I do.
mmmmmmm.....aauuggghh......marshmallow mateeeeeys.
dude i like the song choices
Leisy and Laney: I would give ANYTHING to be able to have your type of pregnancies and eat fritos right now. ;) I'm sure this is nature's way of population control.
oh boo on being sick!!! the things we do for these kids! is there anything that makes you feel better? i always like just laying on the couch and putting out food for the family to fend for themselves on...
Congratulations Erin! I'm sorry you've been so sick though!
Just wanted to drop a line and say hi and see how you are doing hopefully not to sick.
I haven't peeked at your blog in awhile, so congratulations! and I love this post. It's so real. Call friends, let them watch India! A good nap at the right time can make all the difference. and lately i'm all for lots of movies at my house. It's better than a grouchy mommy, right? :)
